I'm almost a year into the CrossFit life and recently I've really been trying to amp up my workouts. I started like most taking more time to catch my breath and focus on form, but have felt lately more confident and wanting to improve more. I started using a smart watch to monitor my heart rate and try to push myself into a higher zone to improve lactate capacity. The results seem to be working, I have a lot more endurance, but ever since I started going harder I've been struggling to fall asleep at night. I feel like it's either I workout really hard and don't sleep well, or I settle for "good enough" and sleep ok. Anyone else been through this? Tips to improve?
Other facts, due to work I only have the option to workout in the evening. I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning and that is it.
